About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and highly driven Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the Gulf region, with a focus on the industrial sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in sales and a passion for cutting-edge AI solutions to play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in this rapidly growing market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing strategic customer relationships, building sales channels, and driving adoption of our innovative products like mimik HybridTrax across multiple industry sectors, including but not limited to maritime, construction, logistics, and other applicable segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets in the Gulf region, with an initial focus on key industrial sectors such as maritime, construction, logistics, and other relevant segments where our solutions can drive value.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their operational needs and positioning our solutions as key enablers of productivity, efficiency, safety and sustainability.
- Identify, onboard, and manage sales channel partners to extend market reach and ensure seamless delivery of products.
- Provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine strategies and drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand product specifications and effectively communicate these to customers.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events to showcase products like HybridTrax and strengthen brand visibility in the maritime domain.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and coordinating with cross-functional teams for the successful implementation of solutions.
- Deliver regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, contributing to the formulation of business strategies.
Required Qualification
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in maritime, logistics, or industrial solutions.
Experience
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, particularly in the Gulf region.
- Familiarity with AI-based technologies, IoT, and maritime operations and safety solutions is a strong advantage.
- Strong network within the Gulf region’s tier-1 industrial sectors, including maritime, construction, logistics, and other key industries.
Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel across the Gulf region to meet clients and attend industry events when needed.
- Comfortable using tools such as Slack, Confluence, SharePoint and Copilot
