About the Role
The Product Manager for HybridTrax will lead the strategic planning, development, and continuous enhancement of the HybridTrax solution, focusing on its adoption in key markets such as the construction, marine, and industrial sectors. HybridTrax is an innovative offline-first platform designed to optimize productivity, safety, and operational efficiency for industries like construction, marine, and industrial operations. Leveraging mimik’s hybrid edge AI technology, HybridTrax processes data locally, enabling real-time insights without reliance on constant cloud connectivity. Its modular architecture allows seamless updates with new AI-powered capabilities, ensuring scalability and adaptability. The role involves collaborating across teams to define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure the delivery of a market-leading platform that aligns with customer needs and mimik’s vision.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Develop and own the product roadmap for HybridTrax, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for innovation.
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
Feature Development and Prioritization
- Collaborate with customers, sales, and marketing teams to gather feedback and translate it into clear product requirements.
- Work with engineering teams to prioritize and deliver features on time and within scope.
- Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases to guide development.
Market Placement and Pricing Strategy
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to define pricing models and placement strategies that maximize market adoption and profitability.
- Conduct competitive analysis to position HybridTrax effectively within the market.
- Work with finance to establish pricing structures that align with business goals and customer value propositions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing to create compelling messaging, sales enablement materials, and go-to-market strategies.
- Work with customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and development teams.
Customer-Centric Focus
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, use cases, and success metrics.
- Advocate for the customer’s voice in all product decisions to ensure HybridTrax delivers measurable value.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to gather ongoing feedback.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in IoT, edge computing, or SaaS platforms.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and launching complex technology products.
- Experience in marine and offshore solutions is a plus, including familiarity with operational challenges and enhancing productivity.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar product management platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, microservices/APIs, and AI/ML concepts is a significant advantage.
- Comfortable using tools such as Slack, Confluence, SharePoint and Copilot
